Vida Djorgee“I am a passionate chef and a teacher with a long rich history of making authentic African meals from my native Ghana. I have been cooking since I was very young and learned the trade alongside my mom and grandmother, who were in the catering and baking businesses in Ghana. Since coming to America, I have been running my own catering business where I make mouthwatering platters full of authentic West African meals. In 2008, I founded the company Delight of Africa, through which I teach African cooking classes for adults of all ages as well as sell my own special sauce and authentic spices. I love sharing my knowledge and skills with my students and seeing how much they enjoy the foods we prepare.”
